meet the archetypes

The Archetypes are the core expression of our winemaking philosophy.
Working with the best fruit we can find each year, we craft wine, see what personality traits it portrays, and forge it as one of the 12 Primary Archetypes. When we produce another wine that mirrors the same characteristics as V.2021's The Sovereign, for instance, it may not be Mourvèdre, or even from the same region, but it will maintain that same sense of decadence and regality.
